WTAPS

WTAPS

(Japan)

WTAPS is a Japanese brand established in 1996 by Tetsu Nishiyama (Tet). Tet has been widely revered as one of the cultural leaders of the Tokyo street fashion scene. Along with being the director of WTAPS, he also directs the Ursus Bape sub line for A Bathing Ape. With designs influenced by the military and the outdoors, WTAPS products also draw inspiration from the philosophy of a group of traditional Japanese carpenters called 'Miya-Daiku', known for making full use of each piece of wood. Through collaborations with brands like Supreme, Stussy and Vans, WTAPS has secured its status as a men's fashion industry heavyweight.
